After seeing this crazy crown molding mantel, we decided it would be one of our first few projects we worked on.   We bought a piece of wood from Waste Not Wood, located in the Dallas design district.  We oiled it, cut it to fit our wall, and made this amazing mantel from it!  The jars/pottery are from junk shops, the painting is by my granny, Nancy.  We are SO pleased with how it turned out! Don’t worry, that nasty fan will be replaced soon.  (Use arrow keys to look through photos).  HUGE thanks to my dad for helping us with everything!
